"Greetings Everyone in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus"
Today's Bible Verse: "Hosea 10:12 "Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains down righteousness on you."
As planting and plowing are necessary steps for growing a crop, which will sprout when the rains falls, so it is with a Christian. The Holy Spirit plows us (convicts us), and plants the seeds, and the Word of God is the rain that waters the seeds in our hearts, that we might grow and mature into His likeness, and His Will.
God calls all of us, His people to serve Him. If we are committed to Him, and if we commit ourselves to the tasks to which He calls us, we will fulfill our potential, and will bear the fruit of His love, as we reach out to bear fruit to others.
Today's Hymn: "A New Name In Glory"
I was once a sinner, But I came, pardon to receive from my Lord
This was freely given, and I found, that He always kept His word
There's a new name written down in Glory, and it's mine Oh yes it's mine
And the white robed angels sing the story, "a sinner has come home."
For there's a new name written down in glory, and it's mine, O yes it's mine
With all my sins forgiven, I am homeward bound for heaven, never more to roam
Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit Thank You Lord for the Holy Spirit, which plants the seeds in our hearts, and Thank You for Your Holy Word which provides the rain to water the seeds in our hearts that we might grow in Your love and mercy. As the seeds grow within our hearts, may we grow and bear much fruit for you, as we become the branches of reaching out to others for you.
