God's Words of Wisdom

"Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for 25 March 2013, from Cindi, a daughter of the King of kings and Lord of lords."

Today's Bible Verse: "Luke 12:22-26 "Then He said to His disciples, "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on.  Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.  Consider the raven, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them, of how much more value than the birds?  And which one of you  by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?  If you are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest?"

I love these verses.  As I continue to read and dig deeper into God's Words, I continue to be blown away by what God does for us, and how much He Loves me.  At one point in my life, I did worry about everything, but now I have learned with the Holy Spirit's guidance, not to worry about tomorrow, for I don't know what tomorrow holds, but God does.  So now my focus as well as all Christians should be on what we can do for Jesus "today" to bring the Good News of Salvation to others, knowing that He is ALWAYS with us, and that He will NEVER FORSAKE LEAVE nor LEAVE us.  Jesus tell us to bring "ALL" our burdens and cares to Him, and that He would "take them" onto His Strong and able Shoulders.  (WOW!!!) Thank You Jesus for Your Promises that "NEVER FAIL or FALL SHORT."

In verse 24, Jesus describes God's care of ravens, unclean creatures according to Jewish law and among the least respected of birds, yet God even cares for them.  "How much more valuable you, that they?"  Here, Jesus points out that God will take care of us.  We are told that worry is utterly useless, and shows a lack of FAITH in God's plan for our lives.

We are physical beings in a material universe, and must have food, drink, and shelter to survive.  Jesus her challenges us not to be anxious even about necessities and gives us two vital insights: (1) we need not be anxious, because we have an Abba Father who cares about us and (2) we must not be anxious, because that would shift the focus of our attention from God to the things of this world.

Anxiety is a result of envisioning the future without God.  So our best defense against worry, is staying in communication with our Heavenly Father.  When you turn your thoughts toward God, you can think much more positively.  Remember to  listen, as well as speak, making your thoughts a dialog with Him.

If you consider upcoming events, follow these rules: (1) Do not linger in the future, because anxieties sprout up like mushrooms when you wander there (2) Remember the promise of God's continued Presence and (3) Include God in any imagery that comes to mind.  This mental discipline does not come easily for us, because we are accustomed to being the "god" of our fantasies.  However, the reality of God's Presence with us, now and forevermore outshines and out weighs any fantasy that we could "EVER" imagine.

Have a God Filled and Spirit Led Day.  Go in Peace and Serve the Lord our God with Gladness.  Love God More Today.  ALWAYS remember that when you have a spiritual, emotional, relational, physical, or financial dilemma in your life, and you tell out, "I CAN'T," GOD WHISPERS to you, "BUT I CAN."

God's Words of Wisdom

"Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for 21 March 2013, from Cindi, a Daughter of the King of kings and Lord of lords."

Today's Bible Verse: Romans 12:2 "And do not be conformed to this world, but be conformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

"Be not conformed" means that we as Christians are to stop conforming ourselves to "this world."  We are to resist being poured into the mold of thinking, value systems, and conduct of this world.  We as believers are not "jell-o" and we don't have to conform to this world.  We are to be transformed from with, by God.

We as Christians are to no longer look at life's issues as mere human beings, but we are to let our perceptions be reshaped by God's own revelation of reality in the Scriptures. We as believers should be "transformed" that is, changed "by the renewing of the mind." Spiritual transformation starts in the mind and heart.  A mind dedicated to the world and its concerns will produce a life tossed back and forth by the currents of culture.  But a mind dedicated to God's truth will produce a life that can stand the test of time. As Christians we can resist the temptations of this world by meditating on God's truth and letting the Holy Spirit guide and shape our thoughts and behaviors.

We as Christians, need to be still in the Presence of God, even though countless tasks demand our attention. Nothing in our life is as important as spending time with God. While we wait in His Presence, He does His best work within us, by transforming us with the renewing of our minds.

We need to stop letting the worries of the world interfere with our Quite Time with God. If we do, it will plunge us headlong into wrong activities, where we will miss out on the richness of what God has planned for us.  Do not seek God primarily for what He can give you, BUT remember That He is the Giver, and He is more infinitely greater that any gift that He might impact upon us as Christians. God delights in blessing us His children, but He become deeply grieved when His blessings become idols in our hearts.  Anything can be an idol, if it distracts us from God our "First Love."

When we place God as the ultimate desire of our hearts, we will be safe from the danger of idolatry. As we wait in God's Presence, we can enjoy the greatest gift of them all: "Christ in you, the HOPE of GLORY."

God's Words of Wisdom

"Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for 19 March 2013, from Cindi, a Daughter of the King of kings and Lord of lords."

Today's Bible Verse: Romans 3:23-26 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, who God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus."

A personal sin may be one of commission (doing something that is prohibited) or a sin of omission (failing to do what is required of us).  It may also express it self in either an act or an attitude.  In verse 23, sin is portrayed as falling short of God's glory, going astray like a wandering sheep, Isaiah 53:6, transgressing or overstepping the law, Psalm 51:1; Luke 15:29, and trespassing, which means exercising our own wills in the realm of divine authority, Ephesians 2:1.

Sin brings hideous results, affecting not only our relationship with God, but also our relationship with others.  If not checked, sin will destroy the natural process of every person.  We as Christians should not sin, but if we do, we need to remember, that we have an Advocate before our Abba Father, Jesus Christ, and if we confess our sins, we then will be restored to our relationship and fellowship with God, 1 John 1:9-22.

Propitiation in verse 25, is the act of God, motivated by His Immense Love, whereby He accepts the blood of Christ, as the complete and satisfying sacrifice for all our sins, thus establishing a means of reconciliation between God and man.  While the offering of the blood of Christ was a sufficient propitiation for the sins of the whole world, 1 John 2:2, the complete benefits of His sacrifice are available only to those who by faith, accept this provision for sin.

"Atonement," implies the sacrificial death of a substitute who takes the punishment as offender deserves.  Jesus surrendered Himself up to death, represented here in the shedding of His blood.  As a substitute, He took the awesome penalty our sins deserved and thus saved us from the punishment that we deserved.

The death of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary, satisfied the Fathers righteous demands.  the emphasis is not on the blood as it coursed through the veins of Jesus, but that it was shed for our sins.  God can remain just (true to His nature) and still declare us as sinners to be righteous only because Jesus has paid for sin and satisfied God's Holy Law.  The sinner is not rendered guiltless, but pardoned.  Because His Son, Jesus Christ, has taken our sins upon Himself, God does compromise His Holiness when He forgives us as sinners and He imputes His righteousness to us as sinners.

Have a God Filled and Spirit Led Day.  Go in Peace an Serve the Lord our God with Gladness.  Love God More Today.  ALWAYS remember that when you have a spiritual, emotional, relational, physical, or financial dilemma in you life, and you yell out, "I CAN'T." GOD  WHISPERS to you, "BUT I CAN."

Gods Words of Wisdom

"Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for 10 March 2013, from Cindi, a Daughter of the King of kings and Lord of lords."

I am sorry that I haven't been able to get these out lately, but I have been really sick, but with the Lords Healing Hands upon me, I am feeling alot better.  If you would like to receive the Monday through Friday that I write via email called, "God's Words of Wisdom from the Bible" then email me you email address to cindilynn53@yahoo.com and I will send them to you.

Today's Bible Verse: John 14:1-4 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me.  In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go to prepare a place for you. I will come again and receive you unto Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.  And where I go you know, and the way you know."

Jesus, after announcing the betrayal of Judas (John 13:21), His own imminent departure (John 13:33), and Peter's denial (John 13:38), Jesus then tells His  disciples not to "be troubled" but to trust Him.  The larger reference is to all the apostles, through whom Jesus is going to lay the foundation of the church.  His comfort also includes instructions about His departure, the sending of the Holy Spirit, the promise of spiritual power of Answered  Prayer, and of peace, but especially the promise of "His Return."

Heaven is a place and the eternal hope of all Christians and believers.  Scripture describes it as a beautiful city, where the redeemed will live for all eternity.  The activities in heaven include singing (Revelation 15:3), worship (Revelation 5:9), serving (Revelation 22:3),  ruling (2nd Timothy 2:12; Revelation 22:5), fellowship with others (Matthew 17:3), and eating Revelation 2:17).  The quality of existence in heaven is a life of fellowship with God (Revelation 22:4), a life of rest (Revelation 14:13), a life of service (Revelation 22:3), a life of growth (Revelation 22:2), and a life of worship (Revelation 19:1).  The glories of heaven belong only to those who have personally trusted in Jesus for their salvation.  Christians who work to win souls, are gathering friends who will spend all eternity with them in heaven.

Jesus in verse 3, tells us a Christians, that He will come again and receive us unto Himself.  Peter may have failed Jesus, just as we do, but Jesus will return for Peter, and all those who have placed their Faith and Trust in Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Savior.  May we has John, at the close of the Book of Revelation say, "Even so, come, Lord Jesus."

Please uplift Youcef Nardankari and American Pastor Saeed Abedini in your Prayers as they have been falsely accused by the Iranian Government and been sentenced to an Iranian prison.  Pray that God will uplift them with His Strength, His Peace and His Comfort as well as their families.  Also Pray for all those who are being persecuted for their Faith and Trust in Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Savior.
