God's Words of Wisdom from the Bible for Friday 22 July 2011

"Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 22 July 2011"

Today's Bible Verse: "Mark 13:26 "Then they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory."

Jesus speaking to us in this verse says: I am your Risen, Living Savior!!  Through My resurrection you have been born again to an ever lasting hope.  It is vital for you to remain hopeful, no matter what is going on in your life.

People put their hope in a variety of things, wealth, power, health, medical treatments, but all these are insufficient.  When storms break upon your life, you can only fine one adequate source of help---ME.  The hope I provide is an anchor for your soul, firm and secure in the most troublesome of waters.  A good way to remain anchored in ME is to whisper as often as needed: "Jesus, You are my hope."  This affirmation strengthens you and keeps you connected to ME.

I am constantly working to transform your life.  You need My help continually to keep your hope alive.  I stand ready to help you at all times--during stormy times as well as times of smooth sailing.  I am not only ever-living, but also more abundantly alive than you can possibly imagine.

There are NO limits to what My Great Power and Glory can accomplish!  I can change the most "hopeless" situation into outright victory.  Moreover, as you affirm your trust in me-no matter how difficult your circumstances-I am able to transform you: Gradually and lovingly.  Those who hope in Me will never ever be disappointed.

Today's Hymn: "Let Others See Jesus In You" (verse 1)

When passing through this world of sin, and others your life shall view
Be clean and pure without, within; Let others see Jesus in you
Let others see Jesus in you, Let other see Jesus in you
Keep telling the story, be faithful and true
Let others see Jesus in you

Abba Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, today Lord and forevermore I will put my trust wholly in You.  On You Lord my solid Rock I will I build my life on, and I will look for Your Great Power and Glory.
                                                                                                                   Amen

God's Words of Wisdom from the Bible for Thursday 21 July 2011

"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 21 July 2011"

Today's Bible Verse: 2 Timothy 3:16-17 "All Scripture is given by inspiration of god, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

"Inspiration" refers to the supernatural guidance of the writers of Scripture by the Spirit of God, so that what they wrote was the divine Word of God, transcribed accurately, reliably, and without error.  The word inspiration itself pictures God breathing out His word to men. Paul teaches that God was actively involved in the revelation of this truth to the apostles and prophets, who wrote it down.  The author of the Bible is God Himself.  With this we then see that the Scripture is true and it affirms that it is completely authoritative.

Since the Scriptures are given to help Christan's grow in maturity, the Study of the Bible is profitable in four ways:

(1) Doctrine (Teaching)
(2) Reproof (Conviction)
(3) Correction (Setting something straight)
(4) Instruction (the process of training a child)

The Study of Scripture will make a believer complete, capable, and proficient.  We are to be fully prepared.  Christians who master the Word of God will never lose his or her way.  Knowing God's Word and applying it in our daily life's will produce right practices.

Today's Hymn: "Room At The Cross For You"

The cross upon which Jesus died, is a shelter in which we can hide
And its grace so free is sufficient for me, and deep id it's fountain as wide as the sea
There's room at the cross for you, there's room at the cross for you,
Though millions have come, there still room for one,
Yes, there's room at the cross for you.

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, how we thankful for the Bible, Your Holy Word.  As we as Christians study your word, may our eyes and heart be opened to what is written there, that we might apply the teachings there within our hearts, that we might not sin against Thee.
                                                                                                                                       Amen

God's Words of Wisdom from the Bible for Tuesday 19 July 2011

"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 19 July 2011"

Today's Bible Verse: Acts: 16:29-31 "Then he called for a light, ran in and fall down trembling before Paul and Silas.  And He brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"  So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household."

Paul and Silas were in prison and a great earthquake shook the foundations of the prison so that is opened the doors to their cells.  The jail keeper was terrified because according to Roman Law a guard who allowed a prisoner to escape was put to death.

Paul being a Roman citizen and realizing this Roman custom assured the jailer that they were still there.  The compassion that Paul and Silas showed to the jailer brought him to his knees and he asked them, "What must I do to be saved?"  This question by the jailer would indicate that he had some knowledge of Paul's Sermons.

Paul's response to this question, remains to this day one of the simplest and clearest answers to this vital question that can be found, "BELIEVE in the NAME of the LORD JESUS CHRIST and YOU will be SAVED."  "Wow"  No other work is ever  needed to be saved.  How easy it is to receive the free gift of Salvation, but how hard it is for our sinful nature to let go, in order to have that NEW LIVE in CHRIST".

Today's Hymn: "Trust and Obey"

Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies, but His smile quickly drives away
Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear, can abide while we trust and obey
Trust and obey, for there's no other way, to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, how simple you have made it for us to receive Eternal Life.  It is not of our works Abba Father, but it is because of our believing, and trusting in the name of Jesus Christ, Your only begotten Son, that saves us from our sins, and cleanses us from all unrighteousness.  Thank you for that promise that stands even today.
                                                                                                                                 Amen

God's Words of Wisdom from the Bible for Monday 18 July 2011

"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ 18 July 2011"

Hello everyone!!  Today I am sharing with all of you a poem that I have written.  God has blessed me with this wonderful gift and each day is a new adventure with our Almighty, Loving, Caring and Gracious God.  With the light of the world within me I am a beacon that draws others to me, to see why I am so happy which in turn allows me to tell them about Jesus and His free gift of salvation and eternal life.

This started out as words of encouragement in an email card to a friend, for her daughter who  had felt that the Lord had abandoned her.  As I was writing it, the Holy Spirit spoke to me the words listed below.  I hope that you like it, and that it uplifts you in song and praise before our Almighty God.

                                                               "God Loves You"

God Loves You, and He Will Never Ever Leave You, Nor Forsake You
He is always there by your side, with His Loving Arms Opened Wide
Wanting to hold you next to Him, With His Strong and Loving Arms

He will never forsake You, nor abandon you
He is and always will be, Your best and faithful friend
If you would but call Him, He will come, like He promises in His Word

Open your arms, and run to His nail scared hands, and opened arms
As He speaks to your heart and mind, say, "Here I am Lord, I am Thine"
As you bask in His Love, Mercy and Grace

Jesus is tenderly calling you to come to Him, for His Mercy, Grace and Peace
Seek Him and you will find Him, Knock and the door will be opened
Ask, and your Abba Father will shower you with His Love and Grace

For Jesus is the Same YESTERDAY, TODAY, and FOREVER
He never changes His mind nor His promises, for He always will be
Your Caring, Loving, Gracious Almighty God

Heavenly Father help us in our Daily Lives to seek You and to always listen for Your soft, tender, sweet voice as You guide us through each day.  May we always and forever more, give You all the Praise and Glory for which You so richly deserve.
                                                                                                                             Amen

Have a God Filled and Spirit Led Day.  Go in Peace and Serve the Lord our God with Gladness.  Love God More Today and always remember that when you have a spiritual dilemma in your life and you yell out, "I CAN'T", God whispers to you, "BUT I CAN".

God's Words of Wisdom from the Bible for Sunday 17 July 2011

"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for 17 July 2011"

Today's Bible Verse: Mark 10:14-16 ""But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for such is the kingdom of God.  Assuredly, I say to you, whosoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.  And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.

"Wow"  Since I am a child of God, I am looking forward to Jesus taking me up in His arms, laying His strong and loving arms around me, gazing into His eyes, hearing His voice and laughter and saying to me, "Welcome thou good and faithful servant to the kingdom that I have prepared for you."

When the disciples of Jesus rebuked the parents who tried to bring there children to Jesus, He was "deeply displeased.  We are foolish to ignore the little ones, who are very important to the Lord.

Children show sincerity, eagerness, a trusting attitude and total dependence on their parents.  With that child likeness, we as Christians need to have the same attitude in serving and being dependent upon our Abba Father.

Today' Hymn: "Child of the King"

My Father is rich in houses and lands, He holdeth the wealth of the world in His hands
Of rubies and diamonds, of silver and gold, His coffers are full His riches untold
I'm a child of the King, a child of the King, with Jesus my Savior, I'm a child of the King

Abba Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit,  may we come before You as children with sincerity, eagerness, a trusting attitude and total dependence on You for everything that we do as Christians in serving You our Abba Father.
                                                                                                               Amen

God's Words of Wisdom from the Bible for Friday 15 July 2011

"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 15 July 2011"

Today's Bible Verse: 1 Peter 3:14-16 "And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness sake, you are blessed.  "And to do not be afraid of their threats nor be troubled."  But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having good conscience that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed.  For it is better, if it is the Will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil."

Since everything in this sinful world does not function as it should because of sin, even we as Christians may undergo suffering.  Peter gave the following guidelines to the Christians response to unjust suffering:

(1) Do not fear (2) Remember that Christ is Lord (3) Remain hope filled and willing to explain why you are still positive about life (what a testimony that is) (4) Keep on doing good so you will have a clear conscience, and your enemies will be ashamed (5) Remember it is better to suffer for the Lord, than to suffer for a wrong that we have done.

We as Christians should make certain that when or if we suffer, it is only because we have served God faithfully, and not because we have done anything wrong. In the Will of God, we are sometimes called on to suffer for well-doing as a testimony to others. God specially honors those who suffer for doing what is right.

Today's Hymn: "God Is Good All The Time"

If you are walking through the valley, and there are shadows all around
Do not fear, He will guise you, He will keep you safe and sound
"Cause He's promised to never leave you, nor forsake you and His Word is true
God is good, God is good, all the time

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, how good it is to know that when we suffer unjustly for our faith and trust in You, that You have promised us that You would not forsake nor leave us and that You would be with us every step of the way.  May others see the light of Jesus within us so that when they ask us why we are so happy, we can boldly tell them, "Because of Jesus whom lives within me, and is me".
                                                                                                         Amen

God's Words of wisdom from the Bible for Thursday 14 July 2011

"Greeting in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 14 July 2011"

Today's Bible Verse: Psalm 16:11 "You will show me the path of life (past); In Your presence is fullness of joy (present); At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore (futures)."

In this verse it turns out, that sometimes you CAN have your cake and eat it too!  God himself promises!  We would never have found that path of true faith ourselves as we wandered through life's wilderness.  Jesus searched for us and brought us home to life in His family, His church, here on earth.

Throughout our earthly lives, He will continue to fill us with joy in His presence.  Regardless of how we fill at any given moment, regardless of whether we happily eat birthday cake or coke down the dry bread of grief, our Lord's presence buoys our hopes and calms our fears and anxieties.

Our eyelids will one day close in death, but that will not end our pleasure in God's presence.  Instead, we will experience even fuller joys, joys we can't even imagine now.  We'll inherit the 'eternal pleasures' of God's presence, all because of the life, death and resurrection of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to whom we owe our eternal gratitude.

Today's Hymn: "Jesus Paid It All" (verse 4)

Lord, now indeed I find, Thy power and Thine alone,
Can change the leper's spots, and melt the heart of stone
Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, as we look back on our lives, we see the sustaining power of Your presence.  As we think about Your presence in our life today, our hearts overflow with thanksgiving and praise.  As for your promise of future joy, we are at a loss for words for all your love and saving grace, but the words that do come to our minds are "Thank You" for loving us before we loved YOU.
                                                                                            Amen

God's Words of Wisdom from the bible for Wednesday 13 July 2011

"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 13 July 2011"

Today's Bible Verse: John 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace.  In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

In this verse Our Lord simply states a fact of life...Life on our fallen planet often includes trials, traumas, and turmoil.  Some days, weeks, or even years, toil and trouble seem to double down on us.  Fraying relationships, Unraveling finances, Workplace worries.  Double toil and double trouble seem to be our lot in life.  If Jesus confirms that we will have tribulations, what hope can we have?

The hope that we need comes from the Lord's second promise, the promise that comes from the end of this same verse: "....be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

From our Lord's cross and empty tomb flows ample proof that those who cling to Christ in faith simply cannot lose!  Victory belongs to us, in life and in death alike.  Trusting that Jesus has overcome and He shares His victory with us, makes every promise of our Savior that much more comforting, even His promises of trouble and trials.

Jesus who is our best Friend, knows how tough life's problems can get.  He understands and empathizes with us, and yet still His love and power go much further, they make victorious, come what may.

Today's Hymn: "Shall We Gather At The River" (verse 1)

Shall we gather at the river, where angels feet have trod
With its crystal tide forever, flowing by the throne of God
Yes, we'll gather at the river, the beautiful, the beautiful river
Gather with the saints at the river, that flows by the throne of God.

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit,   Lord you are indeed my Savior and my Best Friend, and you have overcome the world.  Teach me Holy Spirit to "take heart" right now as I face the trails and troubles before me, so that in doing so, I might bring Great Glory and Honor to your Name which is above every name.
                                                                                                                Amen

God's Words of Wisdom from the Bible for Monday 11 July 2011

"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 11 July 2011"

Before I begin I want to praise God that one year ago today I accepted Jesus Christ into my life and my life the moment that I did was totally and amazingly transformed.  I continue to stand in awe of God has done in my life.  Every day is a new adventure with the Lord.  I say like the Prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 6:8, "Here I am Lord, send me".  Please pray for me that the Lord continues to use this Internet ministry to send out the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world.

Today's Bible Verse: "Isaiah 59:2 "But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hid His face from you, so that He will not hear you."

Throughout the Bible, the Scriptures tell us what sin is.  It teaches us the fact that sin separates us from God.  While God is ready to forgive, even the believer who habitually practices sin is cut off from the fellowship with the Lord.

The Scripture emphasizes the devastating effect of sin on human nature.  Sin curses us with spiritual death, a condition that will carry over into eternity unless the sinner receives new life through faith in Jesus Christ.

Sin corrupts human nature; it turns our thoughts to evil acts, arouses wrong desires, and so weakens our wills that we chose wrong, even when we know what is good.  Sin is so hated by a Holy God, that it will bring the unbeliever under His divine wrath.  How wonderful it is, that we as Christians have a Redeemer, who shed His blood, and washed us of our sins, and has taken away the wrath of God against us.

Today's Hymn: "Trust and Obey"

When we walk in the Lord, in the light of His Word, What a glory He shed on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us still, and with all who will trust and obey
Trust and obey, for there's on other way, to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, we are so thankful, that because of our belief and trust in Your Son Jesus Christ, we as Christians will not endure Your wrath which we deserve, but we will enjoy Your Love, Care and Grace.  Thank you for the indwelling Holy Spirit who teaches us, guides us and corrects us.  May we always remember, that there is no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey.
                                                                                                                     Amen

God's Words of Wisdom from the Bible for 9 July 2011

"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for 9 July 2011"

Today's Bible Verse is for those who are going through financial issues, health issues with themselves, family or friends, job issues and spiritual issues.

Today's Bible Verse: Isaiah 40:28-31 "Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary.  His understanding is unsearchable.  He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.  Even the youth shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those that wait on the Lord, shall renew there strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint"

"Wow"  What a passage about the strength of God, that God gives to us as Christians.  God is not only everlasting, He is also the creator to all the ends of the earth.  Since God neither faints, or ever grows weary, He can meet all our needs.  He WILL NEVER EVER let us down.

Our human strength can never compare to the power of our Almighty God.  We are to wait with complete confidence, expectations, and hope in the Lord.  The transforming power of the Holy Spirit brings power to the believer.

The eagle here gives us the picture of the Lord.  The eagle is God who gives strength to those that have put their faith and trust in him?  Comfort?  Comfort Indeed!!!!  "Praise God"  May God's strength and power be with all of you in whatever issue you may be having.  Always remember that we serve a Loving, Caring, Gracious Almighty God.  We may not understand why things happen the way that they do, but everything happens in accordance with the perfect Will of God and His timetable.

Today's Hymn: "Everlasting God"

Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord, wait upon the Lord, We will wait upon the Lord
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord, wait upon the Lord, We will wait upon the Lord
Our God, you reign forever, our hope our string deliverer
You are the everlasting God, the everlasting God, You do not faint, You won't grow weary
Your the defender of the weak, You comfort those in need, You lift up on wings like eagles
You are the everlasting God, the everlasting God, the everlasting God, the everlasting.

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, we praise You as our everlasting God.  Thank you for the strength and hope that You give to those that have put there faith and trust in you.  Help us Lord as we serve you, to run and be weary, to walk and not faint.  Help us each day of our life's to give you all the Praise, All the glory that is due to You our Almighty God.
                                                                                                                                 Amen

God's Words of Wisdom for Saturday 9 July 2011

"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ on 9 July 2011"

Today's Bible Verse: Hebrews 4:15,16 "For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.  Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help us in time of need."

Our High Priest, Jesus Christ sympathizes with our weakness.  The word "sympathize" means "to suffer with" and would express the feelings of one who entered into suffering.  Jesus experienced every degree of temptation as we do, yet He was without sin.  We as humans who give into temptation so easily, cannot even begin to know how strong temptation can be.  Jesus who never gave in, Knows.

We as Christians should boldly and courageously approach God in Prayer, because His is a throne of grace, and our High Priest Jesus Christs sits at at his right hand interceding for us.

Mercy in verse 16 is a compassion for a suffer so great that it moves one to help.  In this verse mercy implies failure: we come to God because our sins have led us away from Him and from rest.  The greatness and wonder of this passage is that Jesus understands our every weakness, and we come before God and find Him not accusing us, but finding His MERCY and GRACE.

Today's Hymn: "Your Grace Is Enough"

Great is Thy faithfulness O God, You wrestle with the sinners heart
You led us by the still waters into mercy, and nothing can keep us apart
So remember your people, remember your children, remember your promise O God
Your grace is enough, Your grace is enough, your grace is enough for me
Great is Your love and justice God, You use the weak to lead the strong
You led us in the song of salvation, and all Your people sing along, Yeah Your grace is enough
Heaven reaches out to us, Your grace is enough for me, I'm covered in Your love
Your grace is enough for me, for me, it's enough for me

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, how thankful we are for your Son Jesus Christ who stands before You interceding for us.  Thank you for your continuing mercy and grace that You most graciously shower upon those who believe and trust in You.  May we in tune our hearts and our minds to the whisper of Your sweet and soft voice and live daily for You.
                                                                                                                                 Amen

God's Words of Wisdom from the Bible for Friday 8 July 2011

"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 8 July 2011"

Today's Bible Verse: 1 Corinthians 15:53-57 "For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory."  "O death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?  The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.  But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through or Lord Jesus Christ."

We as Christians, the moment that we accepted the free gift of salvation of Jesus Christ into our lives, will receive a body that is not subject to death.  Satan's apparent victory in the Garden of Eden, and at he Cross of Calvary, were defeated by the death of Jesus and His Resurrection.

The grave no longer has power over Christians, because Jesus, has already conquered both sin and the grave.  We are now free to participate in His Victory. "Praise God"

Today's Hymn: "God You Reign"

You paint the night, You count the stars and You call them by name
The skies proclaim, God You Reign
Your glory shines, You teach the sun when to bring a new day
Creation sings, God You Reign, God You Reign
Forever and ever, God You Reign
You part the seas, You move the mountains with the words you say,
My song remains, God You Reign
You hold my life, You know my heart, and You call me by name
I live today, God You Reign, Hallelujah, Allelu

Abba Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, You are the creator of all that is.  Your Creation does sing of Your marvelous works.  You indeed Lord God, have made the stars and given them names and have taught the sun when to begin a new day.  May our hearts always proclaim "God You Reign".

                                                                                                                                  Amen

God's Words of Wisdom from the Bible for Thursday 7 July 2011

"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 7 July 2011"

Today's Bible Verse: Hebrews 13: 5,6 "Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have.  For He Himself has said, "I will never leave nor forsake you."  So we can boldly say, "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear: What can man do to me."

Covetousness is addressed in the last of the Ten Commandments (Exodus 19:17).  The attitude of covetousness destroys a person's inheritance in the kingdom.

"I will never leave nor forsake you." "Wow" What a message this is to our hearts.  This statement is perhaps one of the most profound statements in the New Testament. Jesus unlike us who abandoned Him in the Garden of Gethsemane and at the Cross will never ever abondon, or forsake us.

The bottom line of these two verses is: It isn't how much money we have in the bank or what material things that we might have.  It is the fact that God loves us and is committed to us every second, of every minute, of every hour, of every day and is always here for us and someday we will be spending all eternity basking in His love and glory.  That my friends is REAL SECURITY.

Today's Hymn: "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus"

O soul, are you weary and troubled? No light in the darkness you see?
There's a light for a look at the Savior, and life more abundant and free!
Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full into His wonderful face
And all the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, what a marvelous promise that You made to us, that You would never, ever, forsake or leave us.  We are so thankful Lord that unlike us humans You are faithful in keeping the promises that You make to us.  Help us Lord to always keep our eyes upon Jesus.
                                                                                                               Amen

God's Words of Wisdom from the Bible for Wednesday 6 July 2011

"Greeting in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 6 July 2011"

Today's Bible Verses:
Psalm 48:9 "We have thought, O God, on your loving kindness, In the midst of Your temple."

Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart."

In these two verses is saying to us: I am the light in abundance.  As you spend time "soaking" in My Presence, you are energized and lightened.  Through communing with Me, you can transfer you heavy burdens to my strong shoulders.  By gazing at Me, you gain My perspective on your life.

This time alone with Me is essential for unscrambling your thoughts and smoothing out the day before you.  Be willing to fight for this precious time with ME.  Opposition comes in many forms: your own desire to linger in bed; the evil one's determination to distract you from Me; the pressure of family and friends, and your own inner critic to spend your time more productively.

As you grow in your desire to please Me above all else, you gain strength to resist these opponents.  Delight yourself in Me, for I am the deepest Desire of your heart.

Today's Hymn:"He Leadeth Me"

He leadeth me, O blessed thought!  O words of heavenly comfort fraught!
Whatever I do, wherever I be
Still is is God hand that leadeth me
He leadeth me, He leadeth me
His faithful follower I would be
For by His hand He leadeth me

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, today and every day Lord, I am delighted to be in Your Presence. I am stronger for having spent time with you.  Each day I will seek your abundance, and Praise and Glorify Your Name which is above every name.
                                                                                                                           Amen

God's Words of Wisdom from the Bible for Tuesday 5 July 2011

"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 5 July 2011"
Today's Bible Verse: Galatians 3:13,14 "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."

When Jesus died for us, He took the curse of God upon Himself.  By being crucified, Christ became cursed for us, and our sins were placed upon Him.  Because our faith unites us to our Savior, His death is considered ours, and in Him our sins, have been punished, so that we are set free.

In verse 14 the word "that" appears twice, identifying two reasons that "Christ hath redeemed us from the law": (1) that Gentiles might receive the blessing of Abraham (justification) and (2) that believers might receive the Spirit (indwelling of the Holy Spirit).  This tells us that when one is justified, he or she is at the same time divinely granted the Holy Spirit.

Today's Hymn: "Jesus Paid It All" (verse 3)

And now complete in Him, my robe His righteousness
Close sheltered beneath His side, I am divinely blessed
Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, how incredibly comforting as Christians, it is to know that Jesus became our curse on the cross of Calvary.  Thank you, Abba Father, for the grace that You have given us, through Jesus Christ Your Son.  Thank you Jesus, for the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit, that you send to us the second we accept You, as our Lord and Savior.
                                                                                                                                              Amen

God's Words of Wisdom for Monday 4 July 2011

"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on this the 4th July 2011"

Before I begin today's writing, I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy 4th of July as we celebrate Our Country's Independence Day.  Take time out today and pray for those that have fought and died to give us our freedoms that we still enjoy today.  Pray that we invite God back into our Country instead of turning Him away.  Pray also for those in other countries around the world that are going through suffering, imprisonment and death because of there faith and trust in Jesus Christ.  May the Name of Jesus be glorified in everything that we say and do.  For the believer in Jesus Christ everyday is "Independence Day" from sin and death because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ upon the Cross of Calvary.

Today's Bible Verse:  Matthew 7:24-27 "Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who builds his house on the rock, and the rain descended, the floods came, and the wind blew and beat on that house, and it did not fall, for it was founded on  a rock.  But anyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and who built his house on the sand, and the rain descended, the flood came, and the winds blew, and it beat on that house, and it fell, and great was it's fall."

The key difference in the two houses is not their external appearance.  The key in the story is the foundations.  The house on the rock pictures a life founded on a proper relationship with Christ.  It will stand the test of Christ's judgement, but the house on sand will fail the test.

Jesus in drawing His concluding illustration of the two foundations begins with the word "therefore".  On the basis of all that He has taught, He concluded that all who both hear and do His sayings shall be saved.  As a Master Counselor, Jesus reminds us that hearing this message alone will not change our lives.  We must both hear and do what Jesus has said.  The elements here are drawn from nature itself, the "rock". the "rain", and the "winds".  The man whose house collapsed was at fault, not because he failed to labor, but because he did not lay the proper foundation.

Jesus in Matthew 7:13-27, concludes His sermon with four warning, each featured by paired contrasts: (1) two ways 13-14) (2) two trees (15-20) (3) two claims (21-23) and (4) two builders (24-27).  As Christians we need to be sure that we choose between each wisely.

Today's Hymn: "Great is Thy Faithfulness" (verse 2)

Summer and winter and springtime and harvest
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love
Great is Thy Faithfulness! Great is Thy Faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see,
All I have needed Thy hand hast provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit,  Help us as men and woman to build our lives and those of our family on the solid rock which is in Jesus Christ, so that when the storms and winds of life descend upon us we will be able to stand against it.  May our daily praise be to you "Great is Thy faithfulness Lord unto me".
                                                                                                                     Amen

God's Words of Wisdom from the Bible for Sunday 3 July 2011

"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for Sunday 3 July 2011"

Today's Bible Verses: Romans 3:23-26 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  Being justified freely to His grace through the Reedmption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God has passed over the sins that were previously committed to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus."

In verse 23, we are told that because of sin, we cannot live up what God created us to be, so we as humans fall well short of His glory.  We cannot save ourselves, because as sinners, we can never meet God's requirements.  Our only hope, is faith in Jesus Christ.

Verse 24 tells us that those who believe are justified freely with out cost by God's grace.  By paying the penalty for our sins on the cross, Jesus can set free us from our sins and give us righteousness, so that we can approach God's throne with praise.

Verses 25 and 26 tell us that by His death, Christ satisfied the justice of God on the cross of Calvary.  God is righteous and at the same time the only one who can declare sinners righteous.  Because of the death of Jesus Christ and His shed blood, God does not compromise His Holiness when He forgives a sinner. ("Praise God")

Today's Hymn: "Redeemed How I Love to Proclaim It" (verse 4)

I know there's a crown that is waiting, In yonder bright mansion for me
And soon, with the spirits made perfect, At home with the Lord I shall be
Redeemed, Redeemed, Redeemed by the blood of the lamb
Redeemed, Redeemed, His child forever I am

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus , Holy Spirit, how we thank you that You have made us righteous through the blood of your Son Jesus Christ.  How thankful we as believers are that we can boldly approach Your throne because of when Jesus did upon the Cross of Calvary.  My we always remember, and may it be our message to this sinful world, that the only thing that can wash away our sins, is the blood to Jesus.
                                                                                             Amen

God's Words of Wisdom from the Bible for Friday 1 July 2011

"Greetings Everyone in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday 1 July 2011"

Today's Bible Verse: Colossians 3:15-17 "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord.  And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."

"Wow"  What a message this is.  I love the worship service portion at my Bible Studies and at Church.  To be able to stand, rejoice and sing praises to the King of kings and Lord of lords with other God fearing Christians, recharges my spiritual well being.

In Today's Bible Verses, the peace of God is the harmony and concord created by God among His people.  Let the peace of God rule in your hearts means that when believers are at odds with each other, whatever course of action best maintains peace and fosters harmony is the course to be taken.  As Christians assemble, and worship the True and Living God, and His Son Jesus Christ, together, then true unity and peace will result.

Unified and confident, God's people will focus on what is really important in the Christian Life.  As Christians we need to always focus on doing whatever we say and do in the Name of Jesus and giving God thanks through Him.  As Christians we are under a microscope at all times as those around us watch us and how we react to life's situations.  The church as a continuing incarnation of the Lord, to whom we are all intimately linked and as a Christian we have the prayer support and comfort of other Christians when we have a crisis in our life's.

Today's Hymn: "Praise Him, Praise Him"(verse 1)

Praise Him! Praise Him! Jesus our blessed Redeemer!
Sing, O earth, His wonderful love proclaim!
Hail Him! Hail Him! highest archangel's in glory
Strength and honor give to His Holy Name!
Like a shepherd, Jesus will guard His children
In His arms he carries them all day long
Praise Him! Praise Him! Tell of His excellent greatness
Praise Him! Praise Him! Ever in joyful song

Heaven Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, how worthy You are to receive all our praise and glory.  It is so wonderful to be able to gather in Your House and there to sing praises to you out God and King.  May we keep Your song of praise upon our hearts, throughout or life upon this earth and that we might bring great glory and honor to Your Name which is Above every Name.
                                                                                                                                          Amen
