God's Words of Wisdom from the Bible for Friday 8 July 2011

"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 8 July 2011"

Today's Bible Verse: 1 Corinthians 15:53-57 "For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory."  "O death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?  The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.  But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through or Lord Jesus Christ."

We as Christians, the moment that we accepted the free gift of salvation of Jesus Christ into our lives, will receive a body that is not subject to death.  Satan's apparent victory in the Garden of Eden, and at he Cross of Calvary, were defeated by the death of Jesus and His Resurrection.

The grave no longer has power over Christians, because Jesus, has already conquered both sin and the grave.  We are now free to participate in His Victory. "Praise God"

Abba Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, You are the creator of all that is.  Your Creation does sing of Your marvelous works.  You indeed Lord God, have made the stars and given them names and have taught the sun when to begin a new day.  May our hearts always proclaim "God You Reign".
