"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for 18 November 2011"
Today's Bible Verse: Exodus 3:5 "Then He said, "Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground."
We see here in this verse that God appears to Moses in a burning bush, to announce to the new reluctant hero, that he is to go to Pharaoh "To bring My people out of Egypt." The flame of fire was an extraordinary sight, particularly since the bush was not consumed. God tells Moses to take of His shoes for the ground where Moses was standing was Holy ground and set apart by His divine presence. Moses then hide his face, because he was afraid to look upon God.
We as Christians need to listen to God even while we are listening to other people. We need the help of the Holy Spirit to respond appropriately. Ask the Holy Spirit to think through you, live through you, and love through you.
God's own Presence is alive within us in the Person of the Holy Spirit. If we respond to others needs through our own unaided thought processes, we offer them dry crumbs. When the Holy Spirit empowers our listening and speaking, the river of living water flows through us to other people around us.

Heavenly Father, Lord Christ, Holy Spirit how thankful we are that we serve a Living, Loving, Faithful, Merciful and Gracious God. Thank you Holy Spirit for Your indwelling power that leads us and guides us in our walk with Jesus. Help us everyday, in everything that we say and do, to be more like Jesus as we walk in His footprints in our walk with Him.

Pray for our Brothers and Sisters in Christ who are being persecuted for their Faith and Trust in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Also pray for the Nation of Israel. Always remember that when you have a spiritual dilemma in your life and you yell out, "I CAN'T", God Whispers to you, "BUT I CAN".
"As for God, His way is perfect: the Word of the Lord is tried: He is a buckler to all those that trust in Him." Psalm 18:30
