"Greetings Everyone in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ"
Today's Bible Verse: Colossians 1:21,22 "And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight."
Being alienated from God indicates a desperate state of utter separation and isolation, which in lost humanity's relationship with God is also marked by hostility. It is our own evil which makes us hostile to, and which alienates us from God.
Body and flesh in verse 22 clearly states that Christ became man and experienced a physical death. "To present you.....holy in His sight", expresses the ultimate purpose of reconciliation: it is to eventually usher the believer, made perfectly holy, into the heavenly presence of God.
The believer who was once an enemy of God and alienated by our own wicked works will one day be presented as above reproach on account of Christ's death for us.

There is joy in the Lord, There is love is His Spirit
There is hope in the knowledge of Him, There's a fountain that flows
Like a river from heaven, Abounding in love to my soul
All blessing and honor are His, All glory and power are His

Let all glory be given to Him
Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit Thank you for faith in Jesus Christ, our Savior, our Redeemer and our Lord. Thank You for the joy of being a Christian and your never failing Love and Care for us. All blessings and honor are Yours, all glory and power are Yours. May we always give You all our praise which you so richly deserve.
