Today's Bible Verse: 2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promises, as some count slackness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."
The delay of God's Judgment is not due to slackness, but to God's Sovereign desire that everyone turn to Him and turn away from sinful life's.
How good it is to have an answer for those who ridicule the idea of a coming Judgment Day. "God's just waiting for you to be saved!" His delay is just more evidence of His Unending Love.
Today's Hymn: "Great Is Thy Faithfulness"
Great is Thy Faithfulness, O God my Father; There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassion's, they fail not; As thou hast been, thou forever will be
Great is Thy Faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see. All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy Faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Great is Thy Faithfulness to all those who believe and trust in You. How great it is to call upon and serve a Loving, Caring and Merciful God. Thank you Lord Jesus for taking my sins upon Yourself when you died on the Cross of Calvary. Thank you for arising on the third day conquering death and sin and then sending to us the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit the moment we accepted You into our lives. May we as Your children always bring glory and honor to Your Name.
