"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for 21 August 2011"
Today's Bible Verse: Matthew 6:34 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about it's own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."
Jesus tells us in this verse "Do not worry about tomorrow!" This is not a suggestion but a command. God divided time into days and nights, so that we would have manageable portions of life to handle.
His grace is sufficient for us, but its sufficiency is for one day at a time. When we worry about the future, we heap day upon day of troubles onto our flimsy frame. We stagger under this heavy load, which He never intended us to carry.
We need to throw off this oppressive burden with one quick thrust of trust. Anxious thoughts meander about and crisscross in our brains, but trusting God brings us directly into His presences. As we affirm our faith, shackles of worry fall off instantly. Enjoy the presence of God continually by trusting in Him at all times.

Marvelous grace of our loving Lord, Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt
Yonder on Calvary's Mount out poured, There where the blood of the Lamb was spilled

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit,How thankful we are that you are in total control that happens in this universe. May we as we serve you and do Your will not be worried about the future for you control the future but may we take one day at at time and place our faith in trust in You at all times.
