Today's Bible Verse: John 11:34,35 " "And He said, 'Where have you laid Him?' They said to Him, 'Lord come and see.' Jesus wept."
Verse 35 if often pointed out as the shortest verse in the Bible, but it is also one the most important. If Jesus delays to answer our prayers, it's not because He's unconcerned, because He shares our suffering. He wepts both with us, and for us."
When Jesus wept, he shed tears. He did not wept aloud in hopeless grief like the others were doing. He knew what He was about to do, and His compassion for their pain moved Him to tears. With this shortest verse in the Bible, Jesus showed us as then and as He does today and as He will do forever more, His deep Love and Compassion will always be there for us.

Often you wonder why tears come into your eyes,
And burdens seem to be much more than you can bear
But God standing near, He sees your falling tears
And tears are a language God understands
God sees the tears of a broken hearted soul
He sees your tears and hears them when they fall

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, how thankful that tears are a language that You truly understand. How comforting to know that You our Savior weep and that You still weep for Your children even today. Jesus thank you for Your never ending Love and Compassion that sustains us even in the darkest days of lives.
