"Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for 12 May 2012"
Today's Bible Verse: Titus 2:11-14 ""For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works."
Twice in verse 11, Paul speaks of Christ's appearance in history. The first time Christ came in "Grace" to save us from our sins, and the second time, he will come to "Judge" and "Reign."
The grace of God is to produce two things in the life's of the believer: (1) We are to resist the evil temptations of this world and live godly lives (2) We are to look for the return of Christ. One of the strongest statements of the deity of Christ in the New Testament was made by Paul in verse 13 when he says, "Great God and Savior Jesus Christ."
Redeem means to "purchase." Redemption is the act of Christ's purchasing the believer by His blood, so that we might be freed from our past captivity to sin. We are reminded here, that God's purpose in redeeming us, is not only to save us from hell, but He wants to free us from sin, so that we can produce good works that will glorify Him.
Today's Biblical Truth: "The Lord never fails His children, no matter how difficult the circumstances are."

Have a God filled and Spirit Led Day. Go in Peace and Serve the Lord our God with Gladness. Love God More Today. Pray for our Brothers and Sisters in Christ who are being persecuted for their Faith and Trust in Jesus. Pray for Youcef Nardarkhani the Iranian pastor who has been sentenced to death for his refusal to denounce his Faith and Trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and also pray for his lawyer who has been sentence to 9 years in a Iranian for defending him in the Iranian Court. Pray for God's Peace on the city of Jerusalem and His Blessings on the Nation of Israel. Always remember that when you have a spiritual dilemma in your life and you yell out, I CAN'T," GOD Whispers to you, "BUT I CAN."
"A man's pride will bring him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor." Proverbs 29:23
