God's Words of Wisdom

"Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for Tuesday 23 September 2014, from Cindi, a daughter of the King of kings and Lord of lords."

Today's Bible Verse: Romans 5:19 "For as by one man's disobedience, many were made sinners, so also by one man's death many will be made righteous."

"Disobedience" are specific acts that violate the standards that have been established by God, and also focuses attention on a corrupt human nature.  Sins lives in the human personality.  It is a distortion of that which God created, a warping of our natural desires, understandings and wills, so that we want and choose what is wrong.

The word "made" in this verse means "to take" or "constitute."  As a result of Adam's sin, we as the human race became sinners.  But because of the death of Jesus Christ upon the Cross of Calvary and because of His Resurrection from the grave, we as Christians have been made RIGHTEOUS the second that we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.  Through the work of the Holy Spirit, the believer has been declared RIGHTEOUS by God and with the Indwelling Power of the Holy Spirit we are continually becoming more RIGHTEOUS. (PRAISE GOD)

God's Words of Wisdom

"Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for 16 September 2014, from Cindi, a daughter of the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Today's Bible Verse: 2nd Corinthians 4:3-6 "But even if our gospel is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine of them.  For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bond servants for Jesus' sake.  For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

Unbelievers have a barrier to over come for "the god of this age" has blinded their minds." The "god of this age" is Satan.  On Satan's control of the world system see Matthew 4:8-9, John 12:31, 14:30, 1st Corinthians 10:20, Ephesians 2:2, 6:12 and 2nd Timothy 2:26.  The "lost" of verse 3 are the unbelievers of verse 4.  They are so controlled by Satan, that he effectively shields them from the "Light of the Glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ."  Paul here thus categorizes those who find his message difficult to accept.  In effect, Paul is saying that the person who is criticizing his ministry at Corinth is not even saved for they are lost, unbelieving and has been blinded by Satan.

Jesus Christ is God's Son, and He perfectly reveals God the Father to us.  Although we as human being have been CREATED in the image of God, thought we have fallen from a perfect relationship with God, Jesus Christ is restoring believers to what they were originally created to be in 1st Corinthians 3:18 and genesis 1:26.

As God commanded the light to shine in the darkness at CREATION, Genesis 1:3, so He also "turns on" the LIGHT in the hearts of people, so that they can see who Jesus Christ is.  People who DO NOT see the LIGHT and DO NOT BELIEVE have had their eyes blinded and have had their hearts hardened by Satan in verse 4.  But we as Believers DO see the LIGHT and have reconnected to our Abba Father through Jesus Christ His Son.  PRAISE and GLORY to our Almighty, Loving, and Gracious God.

God's Words of Wisdom

"Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for 8 June 2014, from Cindi, a daughter of the King of kings and Lord of lords."

Today's Bible Verse: James 5:11 "Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord--that the Lord is very compassionate and Merciful." (Today's writing will cover verses 7-11)

In verse 7, James urges believers to maintain an attitude of patience while suffering injustices.  We as Christians, can afford to be patient even when provoked by the rapacious exploitation of the wealthy.  Though every effort should be made to improve conditions and achieve justice.  Believers must have a spirit of patient endurance, even in the midst of cruel treatment.

Few doctrines concerning Jesus are taught in James.  His vicarious DEATH and RESURRECTION are omitted, YET Christ's return is cited to ENCOURAGE patience ENDURANCE.  The Early Church lived in the EXPECTATION of the IMMINENT "Coming of the Lord."  Their HOPE as well as us as Christians today, is that at His Second Coming. JUSTICE would be handed both to the OPPRESSOR and the OPPRESSED.

At the Second Coming of Jesus, wrongs WILL BE righted and believers WILL BE rewarded for their FAITHFULNESS to Jesus, Proverbs 14:14 and Matthew 5:12. Farmers in Palestine absolutely depended on two rainy seasons in the late fall and mid-spring for their crops.  We like farmers, wait for harvest time, because we know that Jesus, the JUDGE, is "standing at the door."

After Job's terrible suffering, God BLESSED him with double of ALL the GOOD THINGS that he had before, Job 42.  His example ASSURES us as Christians, that when the Lord returns to receive us unto Himself, we to WILL experience the "compassion of the Lord."

God's Words of Wisdom

"Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for 18 May 2014, from Cindi, a daughter of the King of kings, and Lord of lords."

Today's Bible Verse: Psalm 38:8 "Oh taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the LORD, you saints! There is no wait to those who fear Him."

The historical background of this psalm is related in 1st Samuel 21:10-15.  It bears all the marks of the testimony of one who narrowly escapes death, just as the passage in Samuel describes.  As such, it contains the PRAISE and TESTIMONY of one who was REDEEMED, and the seasonal instruction that can stem from such deliverance.

We as Christians need to be like David, and PRAISE God for His  for His continued goodness to us.  David in this psalm, calls on the believer to "taste and see that the LORD is good."  David then takes the role of teacher, and urges us, as God's people, to do good, assuring them the God supervises the results of their Choices, and that God will RESPOND to the cry of the RIGHTEOUS.

The center of the Biblical mission in the Old Testament, is found in the words, "taste and see."  The task of Israel was to attract the nations to their God.  For their FAITHFULNESS to Him, God had "promised to bless them abundantly," and when the nations saw this blessing they would "see the Living God"  was with them.  In the midst of a world of false gods, who were not good at all, there was "One Living God," and He was altogether good.  "Fear" in verse 9, is a call to, AWE, WONDER, WORSHIP, and REVERENCE of God.  To FEAR God, is to RESPOND to Him in COMPLETE and TOTAL OBEDIENCE.

We as Christians need to "Taste and See" that God is good.  Today's verses, contain an INVITATION to EXPERIENCE God, for the more that we EXPERIENCE Him, the more convinced we become of His "goodness."  This knowledge is every ESSENTIAL to our "daily faith walk."  When adversities strike, the human instinct is to DOUBT God Goodness and Love, BUT God's WAYS are mysterious for ALL things are done in accordance to "God's Will" and "His Good Purpose."

"As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are God's WAYS and thoughts HIGHER than out thoughts and ways." (PRAISE GOD).  We should not try to fathom His WAYS, instead, we need to spend time ENJOYING the Presence of the INDWELLING POWER of the Holy Spirit, and experiencing the "LIGHT" of His "GOODNESS" within us.

God's Words of Wisdom

"Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for 10 April 2014, from Cindi, a daughter of the King of kings and Lord of lords."

Today's Bible Verse: 1st Corinthians 6:19-20 "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?  For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."

Through are union with Jesus Christ, our bodies have become His, temples in which the Holy Spirit dwells.  Whatever we do in the body, must bring GLORY and HONOR to Jesus, for He is PRESENT in us, because He is now us.

The words, "bought with price" verse 20, alludes to someone purchasing a slave at a slave auction.  With His death, His shed blood, and His RESURRECTION, Jesus paid the cost to redeem us from our SLAVERY to Sin. "Praise God"

Each day that we walk upon this our temporary home, in these our temporary bodies, may we speak boldly to others about the Free Gift of Salvation that comes through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  May the thing that we say and do ALWAYS bring great GLORY and HONOR to the Name which is Above Every Name that of Jesus Christ.

God's Words of Wisdom

Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for 27 January 2014, from Cindi, a daughter of the King of kings and Lord of lords."

Today's Bible Verse: Hebrew 4:15-16 "For we  do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.  Let us therefore come boldly to the throne room of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help us in time of need."

Our High Priest, Jesus Christ sympathizes with our weakness.  The word "sympathize" means "to suffer with" and would express the feelings of one who has entered into suffering.  Jesus experienced every degree of temptation as we do, yet He was without sin.  We as humans who give into temptation so easily, cannot even being imagine how strong temptation can be.  Jesus who never gave in, KNOWS.

We as Christians should boldly and courageously approach God in Prayer, because His is a Throne of GRACE, and our High Priest Jesus Christ sits at His Right Hand interceding before our Abba Father for us.

MERCY in verse 16, is a compassion for a sufferer so great that it MOVES one to help.  In this verse, MERCY implies FAILURE: we come to God because our SINS have led us away from Him, and from the rest that He wants to bestow upon us.  The GREATNESS and WONDER of this passage is that Jesus, UNDERSTANDS our EVERY weakness, and we CAN COME before God and FIND Him not accusing us, but FINDING His MERCY and GRACE.

God's Words of Wisdom

"Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for 5 January 2014, from Cindi, a daughter of the King of kings and Lord of lords."

Today's Bible Verse: 2nd Corinthians 1:3-4 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

The Holy Spirit has touched my heart by this verse that deals with times of trouble.  Many of you my friends, my family, and my Bothers and Sisters in Christ are going through the lost of  loved ones, financial woes, family issues and those in other countries who are being persecuted for their FAITH and TRUST in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, this verse is for ALL of you.

The point of these verses, is that, our own sufferings allow us to identify with those who suffer, and enable them to identify with us.  They will sense the reality of the comfort that we have received from God, and find their own comfort in Him.

Our human frailties, which makes us susceptible to SUFFERING, at the same time ENABLE us to display God's COMFORTING LOVE.  Only when we show our WEAKNESS, can we REVEAL the STRENGTH of the Lord within us.

Where there once was only hurt, He gave His HEALING HAND
Where there once was only pain, He BROUGHT COMFORT like a FRIEND
And I FEEL the SWEETNESS of His LOVE, piercing my darkness
And I see the BRIGHT and MORNING SUN, as it ushers in His JOYFUL GLADNESS
He has turned my MOURNING into DANCING again, He has LIFTED my SORROWS
I CAN'T stay SILENT, I MUST SING, Your JOY has COME
