God's Words of Wisdom

"Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for 4 December 2012, from Cindi, a daughter of the King of kings and Lord of lords."

Today is Number 4 in the Series on God's Ten Commandments

Commandment Number 4: Exodus 20:8 "Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy."

The fourth of the Ten Commandments, "remember the Sabbath Day," was the special sign of the covenant at Mount Sinai.  With this command God set Israel apart from her neighbors.  Other people had there own various patterns of work and rest, but Israel was to set apart one day in seven for rest.

The word "Sabbath" means "rest."  The day was kept holy by ceasing their labor on that day.  During the Sabbath, the Israelites worshiped God and recalled His deliverance of them from slavery.  The pattern of six days of work, and one for rest was established by God Himself in the Creation, and God's people were to honor Him, by refraining from work on the seventh day.

Have a God Filled and Spirit Led Day. Go in Peace and Serve the Lord our God with Gladness. Love God More Today. Always remember that when you are having a spiritual, emotional, relational, physical, or financial dilemma in your life, and you yell out, "I CAN'T," GOD Whispers to you, "BUT I CAN."
